I am a quest user with link to steamVR so when i boot it up i also boot up steam and i wanted playspace mover so i got OVR advanced settings and when i click on the shortcut in the dashboard its just nothing but my dashboard. I was hoping that the latest 5.2.1 OVRAS patch would fix it but it didnt.

This started happening ever since the SteamVR 1.13 update.

Changing offsets back to zero immediately reverts wall height to previous custom settings and editable again. Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. OVR Advanced Settings > General Discussions > Topic Details. Using Chaperone offsets or playspace mover resets wall height to default and uneditable. I now know that the index can work with PSM as long as the user knows what numbers to use for the button. I am switching to Index shortly and was hoping that someone out there knows the controller button mask numbers for index. Contribute to Solexid/QuestPlayspaceMover development by creating an account on GitHub. Ive gotten accustomed to using Play Space Mover (Not OVR Advanced setting space drag) over the past 2 years on my Rift. Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. Psychloor ( DoubleTapRunner) avail ( VrcPlayspaceMover) Rafa (re-write and compatibility with MelonLoader) Solexid (some fixes for Quest) A SteamVRs Playspace clone for OculusQuest. im trying to set up playspace mover i used one that i had to run in the background before but that stopped working so now i wanne set it up in over i put it to left and right hand and did bindings but its not working. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. OVR Advanced Settings > Troubleshooting > Topic Details. Motion is on and Ive tested the gravity switch function with. Im not sure whats going on, I tried changing bindings, ect. you can still do floor offset but space drag does not work anymore. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. OVR Advanced Settings > Bug Reports > Topic Details. "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) OS: Windows 10 Advanced Settings Version: 5.0.

Unfortunately you can't turn around with the right thumbstick.Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD. To chat with other people you need to turn your right thumbstick to the right and press down and it'll open the wheel to select keyboard. When you run VR HANDS, no matter what oculus headset you are using, you need to pick the HTC vive so that you can chat with other people. When you are in VR hands you need to press the left oculus button, click the settings button which should appear if you installed OVR correctly, then go to application settings and turn on "Enable Motion Features When in Seated Mode (Experimental)", then go to to motion settings and enable space drag on the hand(s) you want to be able to use it with, and then you should be good to go. Be aware you do get some kind of view distortion which i don't know how to fix. When you have it so that ROBLOX is in your steam library, you need to go to your desktop, right click on the roblox icon, go to settings, compatibility and change it to Windows 7. As the on-screen instructions state, place one of your controllers on the floor, well within view of your basestation or headset. Space Fix is a quick, effortless way to correct play space errors with almost no manual input. Does anyone know of a tutorial of how to set up OVR advanced settings (play space mover for vrchat mainly) on the HP Reverb G2 My friend has one and I was trying to help them set it up (but I have oculus so it’s a bit different for me) We couldn’t get it to work. After all that you need to be in the steam library, click on the bottom left corner that says "add a game" then press "add a non-steam game". In the Space Fix heading, youll find one of the most useful functions of OpenVR Advanced Settings. To run playspacemover with the oculus headsets, first you download the OVR advanced settings in steam, then setup your controller settings to OVR.
